Bus Service Connects Columbus Amtrak Station with Madison and Fox Valley
Lamers Express now provides daily bus service between the Columbus Amtrak station and Madison, as well as the Fox
Valley to boost Amtrak ridership boarding at the Columbus depot.
The bus departs Madison (UW -Memorial Union) daily at 2:00pm, with a 2:30pm stop at Truckers Inn truck stop, DeForest,
and arrives in Columbus at 3:05pm. The bus then continues north with stops in Beaver Dam, Waupun, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh,
Appleton and Green Bay.
From Columbus Amtrak to Madison (UW Memorial Union), the bus leaves at 12:40pm from the Amtrak station and arrives
in Madison at 1:45pm daily.
The Lamers Connect bus also arrives and departs at Columbus West Travel as follows: 12:45pm for Madison and
3:00pm on the northbound Fox Valley route. The fare between Madison and Columbus is $14 per person, one way.
